Boutique or Classic Brand

People often ask me what my favorite cigars are, they expect me to name some well known brands i.e. Arturo Fuente, Cohiba, Perdomo. When I mention I prefer boutique brands they are often confused as to what that is. 
The best way to explain is this: You have Coors and Bud Light, then you have your local brewery, no million dollar ad campaign or widespread recognition just people who love beer and beer culture.
Same school of thought with boutique cigar brands, these are your local families who have a passion for fine cigar tobacco, cigar culture, and community. 
Yes, I often enjoy Arturo Fuente and other large brands but I have a special love for those small companies with a special community who have a true grass roots love for old fashioned cigars.
